Zusammenfassung Seit ihrer Etablierung als theoretische Querschnittsdisziplin ist die Statik ein steter Treiber methodischer Innovation und digitaler Transformation. Ihr Gegenstand hat sich dabei vom Rechnen zum Modellieren und Analysieren verlagert. Sie unterstützt zielbewusstes Handeln und Gestalten. Die Statik der Zukunft erschließt als kreative Disziplin bisher unbekannte Freiheiten und öffnet die Fachwelt des Bauwesens für neue, interdisziplinäre Möglichkeiten. Bei der Vorbereitung des Beitrags hat sich die Überzeugung gefestigt, dass es sich lohnt, die als richtig und wichtig erkannten Argumente auf dem gemeinsamen Weg in die Zukunft der Statik hervorzuheben. Sie dienen uns, den konstruktiven Bauingenieuren, als Richtschnur und stärken unser Selbstverständnis nach innen und außen. Dieser Artikel ist aus dem gleichnamigen Beitrag zur Tagung „Baustatik – Baupraxis“ in Hamburg 2024 entstanden. Damals zusammen mit Manfred Bischoff aus Stuttgart [1].
The future of Structural Analysis
Abstract Since it was established as a theoretical crosssectional discipline, structural analysis has been a constant driver of methodological innovation and digital transformation. Its subject matter has shifted from calculation to modelling and analysis. It supports goal-oriented action and design. As a creative discipline, structural analysis of the future opens up previously unknown scope and new, interdisciplinary opportunities for the special world of civil engineering. In preparing this article, we have become convinced that it is worth emphasising the arguments that have been recognised as correct and important on the common path to the future of structural engineering. They serve as a guideline and strengthen our selfimage both internally and externally. This article is based on the contribution of the same name to the conference “Baustatik – Baupraxis” in Hamburg 2024. At that time together with Manfred Bischoff from Stuttgart [1].
